Artist's Comments

Inital sketch of Fuchsia Groan, daughter of the Earl of Gormenghast. She's a sultry, stroppy and child-like teenager who collects rocks and twigs, never brushes her hair and refuses to grow up.

Hopefully I managed to capture her character well enough here - melancholy yet naive, dark but innocent. Colour version here [link]

Wow, it's really really beautiful... You're very talented, all the proportions are right and you give to your characters very expressive faces... And above all, you draw them with your so original personnal sryle... Congrats (I'm thinking with difficulty about which one(s) I'm gonna watch... Hum... Such a difficult choice! =P)
